I just donated my old car to Make-A-Wish. Well not yet, but the call was made. The tow company is suppose to call me for a pick-up time within the next day or two. This will be one of my biggest donations to the charity yet.
Why I donate to Make-A-Wish: It's the only charity I know of where 100% of proceeds goes to helping kids that wish upon a star. All others use part of proceeds for advertisements and to feed the CEO of the charity. Plus other things are being done with the money.
I donate regularly to Make-A-Wish. I just like the charity. I don't donate much because I'm not made of money. I don't do it for tax purposes (not like you get anything back) nor to be recognized but because I want to do it.
