I changed my city on my profile because 99.9999993% to 99.9999994% of the population don't know where Arcade is. Hell even when the weather lady gave from tv gave me a personalized weather report, she asked where Arcade was. Lol. Still more then 99% of the population don't know where Buffalo is. But they've heard of us. We've been in movies, tv shows, songs, etc. I live between 30-45 minutes se of Buffalo. We have a world renowned steam engine train that brings tons of people to Downtown Arcade. I think even a president or a queen rode on that train once. It's been on HGTV. I don't remember the name but The guy always says ''Move that bus''! Ty something? The governor of NY once came here. A tornado touched down here once too! About 30 years ago or so I heard. I also heard this town got flooded in the 90's. Which is hard to imagine because of elevation. Oh and just outside of town, back when Ames was still open, there was a murder. I think it was in the 90's? About 10-15 years ago we had SWAT here on my (side dead end) street! About 3 houses down from me. There was once upon a time when some magazine named Arcade the safest small town in America. Or so I've heard. Yeah there's nothing fancy about Arcade but that's the way we like it. We will keep this gem hidden for as long as possible.
