I am a self made man in just about every sense of the term. What is a self made man? Here is what it is from Wikipedia:
"Originally, the term referred to an individual who arises from a poor or otherwise disadvantaged background to eminence in financial, political or other areas by nurturing qualities, such as perseverance and hard work, as opposed to achieving these goals through inherited fortune, family connections, or other privileges."
There's more to me being self made then what that paragraph says. Now I haven't quite reached the eminence part and probably never will but to come from where I came from to where I am now is quite a feat. I never really had a solid role model growing up and even to this day. I've learned mostly from the hard way but learned nevertheless how to become who I am today. I am now in a great place in my life where the only place to go is up from here. I am a very happy man.
