Here's a quote I think is the most important quotes in the world. I gave a person I barely knew over 400 dollars to pay a debt I owed to someone else and I didn't think twice about it. It makes me think of a quote I read in the book (it's in my vital stats) called Papillon (french for butterfly). It's an auto biography about a man who breaks out of every jail in every country he escaped to in order to prove his innocence for a crime he didn't commit. It was a New York Times best seller back in the day. Fantastic book.
Anyway in the book there's a quote. It reads,
''Those who trust others are trustworthy themselves.'' I believe that to be true. Just like that guy that I gave 400 bucks did in reverse roles. He barely knew me and when my car broke down he used my tow rope (actual rope) to tow my piece of crap with his brand new dodge charger more then 10 miles in the snow in the dark going up and down windy roads. He trusted that I wouldn't hit his rear end with my car.
