My impact on this world. (yours too)

I haven't told anyone this because it's not very flattering nor super hygienic but it's a deep ongoing passion I try to remedy daily. We all impact this world for the worse from birth to death and even beyond. So I try to greatly reduce my impact on the world by recycling, reusing, and reducing. Lots of items that are thrown away can be recycled and reused. Take food for example; We throw out nearly half the food we eat. A lot of it is because spoilage. We think we are getting a great discount by buying the largest item in the store. One, that's not always true (smart shoppers check unit price). Two, if we don't use it all in two weeks (seems to be average time frame for prepared meals and other things) we throw it away. I buy items near daily and let me tell you, I've saved more money then the ''smart'' bulk shopper. I hardly ever throw out food. Also I don't shower daily. I don't often go to restaurants because if I had eaten that day I cannot finish my meal. So when I do go, I go hungry. I also have very little useless worldly items. I have a tiny shelf of decorations, 3 pictures, and a calendar on my walls. I'm cold(to a point) in the winter (great for cuddling so I've heard) and sweat in the summer (to a point). I do have mementos I keep stored away. Also I have a single recliner, a simple table and chairs, and a mattress (not a whole bed like most people). I own two pairs of pants, 15 shirts, lots of socks and boxers, 3 coats, 2 hoodies, Two pairs of shoes, one pair of boots, and a pair of slippers. Now you know my whole wardrobe haha. I'm not poor, I just don't need more useless crap that just gets hoarded. I do donate my clothing when I refresh my wardrobe yearly. In other words, I do what I can to impact my world less. Though not to the extreme like the amish haha.
