my mother sent this to me today; it's a rabbi teaching... We aren't jewish, however I feel it can apply to everyone:

your moms jewish bit is pretty damned good. its a shame it is hidden in a place where anyone can read it, and so few will ever realize its there to read. religion, and cultural doctrines are good that way. if it wasnt so wrapped up in the high and mighty attitudes, people could really learn alot from old teachings like that.
at any rate i just wanted to say hey, and again be safe and sound this weekend.
