I remember when years starting with "2" sounded really exotic and futuristic. The 21st century was going to be an era of wonders. We were all going to live on Mars and fly around in our air cars. You'd take a pill and it would be all the food you would need for a year. Robots would provide for all your needs. We'd go off to the stars.
And here we are, and it's basically the same shit as the 20th century.
Well, I do have a better computer now, and more channels on TV.
