This is odd. I had my last two exes contact me within a 24 hour period after long lapses of communication. One called me last night, the other emailed me today.
The one who called last night called to apparantly small talk before sitting down to a TV program (that's how the conversation ended) with no real talk about anything other than work and my friends.
The one who emailed me wrote to ask how I was, then instructed me she "couldn't be happier" with the guy that she started seeing while we were still together and is obviously still dating. My reply was basically good for you, glad to hear it.
I am on a dating hiatus, which I need. These two hurt me pretty bad in their own ways. The first one I walked in on in bed with someone, and the second one you can see what happened. The amount of rejection I recieved from these two relationships is bad enough, but for them to both to contact me out of the blue hours apart is just too weird.
Also, why? Why choose the company of someone else, then get back in touch with me? Was the grass not greener? Do you feel bad and just want to "make sure I'm okay" with your new better life? I'm puzzled.
Oh well, not like I'm going to jump to attention and try to reestablish anything. That's just a strange phenomenon in my book. Hmmm

Fun in jury duty? No, not really - I dodged a bullet and didn't get picked to be an actual juror - but it was still a waste of an entire day. I did meet a really hot blonde-haired, blue-eyed chick from Iceland with a labret. We exchanged email addresses. And I got to hear some great stories from a little old Ukranian lady. Those were the highlights of my day.
I would also like to announce how much I love my new profile pic. It looks SO cool when I post.

I have a habit of letting my hair grow out and then just shaving it in a fit.
It's been a while since I did it last.
Plus, dying it blue didn't really help me get used to it.
We don't really have scenery like that around me either...
well sort of, you only have to drive about 30min to an Hour to find it...
but tha was in Hillsdale NY which is right across the border from Mass.
