My cool, bare skin started to heat up when your hand glided slowly down my back. Even in that dreamlike state I could feel that strong arm next to my face, my head resting on your chest. You turn and wrap your body around me, the curve of our bodies perfectly aligned. The morning sun is starting to creep in through the window, so I close my eyes tightly. I don't want to be interrupted, not even by the day. Before the alarm can tear this moment apart, our chests touch. Your eyes are the first thing I see and I smile. The alarm is louder now ;I reluctantly leave your arms to silence it.
I crawl back, we are awake now. Holding on to each other and these last few moments of speechless communication. Maybe one of two 'sweet nothing' whispers, but words aren't needed now.
Time is taunting, day is calling our names.
