I made a rather dramatic physical change - cut my nails much shorter than they were. GASP. Yes, I know. To me, this is big shit.
Soon, I'm going to post a picture of the new tattoo on my leg. It doesn't really go with the other tattoos on that same leg, but you can't see them at the same time, so this is fine to me. I have no interest in going with only one style. I'm a very multi-faceted person; sometimes scattered, ever-changeable. It wouldn't suit me to have any reasonable combination of anything... I'm not that put together . Good thing is that I'm very inspired to finish that part of my leg now. A few more sittings on my arm then ... moving on.
I am excited to see a generation of tattooed old people. It is going to be awesome... But it won't be for awhile... Good. Don't pass by too quickly, years.
I like winter, but I can't wait for it to end so I can go find an apartment that I actually want.
Daughter of Neptune still needs you or it's gonna wind up in the trash bin.
I finished school for the semester. FINALLY.
I have no idea what kind of grades to expect. My attendance was total and complete SHIT. I was really sick for like... all of October. That didn't help. Ever paper and test I got back, I did quite well on, but I'm afraid my attendance is going to botch my grades something fierce.
Ah, as I write this I checked--
I got a B+ in one of my French courses. I expected something much worse as I walked in twice on unexpected tests, didn't hand in a few of my homeworks, and was late or absent like 50% of the time. My test and paper grades were all really good though-- I guess the work I *did* was compensation.
Just a reminder that if I applied myself for half a minute, I'd have kick ass grades like I did my first year of college (4.0, president's list, working full time, and took 37 credits in 2 semesters-- I'm not ashamed to say that I was awesome that year...)
Goals for next year:
Get my shit together
Stop fucking off
Get the grades I should be getting
