Happy Friday the 13th! Want my list of today's disasters so far?
1. At work, the vvacuum suddenly overheated and turned off. What did I have left to do? Oh, right The floors. I had to do the carpets with a lint roller.
2. Oh, and the mop broke.
3. And I spilled a bucket of mop water on the stairs.
4. The amazingly affordable flight I wanted to take home from Italy is full and there are not too many comparable prices. My boyfriend was totally stressed about flight dates so I waited a few days for him to cool off. Fuck.
5. I amazingly found tickets on the same flight home as my brother! I hadn't been able to find any. So I called and they told me I can't book with them without a doctors letter because of airborne allergies. Grrrrrrrrrr.
6. I opened the backdoor to let some fresh air in, and I was holding my cat, he kind of stands up and peeks over my shoulder. He loves perching like that, but NOT when I open the door apparently and he tore my shoulder and chest up. Fucker.
7. My boyfriend still is not home from work and we were supposed to be almost ready to leave for NY by now.
8. My wallet is MIA. So is my container of US quarters and stuff which I like to have with me when I cross the border.
9. My phone line and internet have completely shut off 4 times. Suddenly. I think there has been a branch on the cable lines or something, because the modem stays on and 5-10 minutes later service returns, or it starts to come back and then disappears again. GAHHH.
10. I opened my Videotron bill and they charged us for an installation we didn't have and a cable service we don't have and didn't remove all the channels I asked them to.
11. I'm trying to import my car into Canada (its registered in the US) but the Canadian customs information was incomplete and I found out this morning I had to do more than I anticipated on the US side of things. I knew I needed 72 hours notices, but who knew I needed the title in my hand? I don't have it. The title is in NY. Which means I probably can't bring my car back into Canada until next Thursday... So. I'll have to park it somewhere on the US side and grab a bus. With 3 other people.
12. I wrecked my nailpolish 3957395739753975 times.
13. Just for good measure. I have a sore throat.
Hopefully things get better before tomorrow.

What this means, is one should not praise the day before it's over, essentially.
I need to turn this around and remind myself not to damn the day until its over. It could get better.
And tomorrow is my birthday!

sucks that you're night started off so rough. at least it ended up smoothing back out. and i hope you're friend didn't get arrested cause that would really stink.
but yeah, it was a great show. though i saw them at the same time last year and i think it was a bit better. Shaine was mildly more coherent and they played a better mix of songs. no Boys from the County Hell? no Fairytale? psshhh.
anyway, hope to catch you again sometime. maybe when there's less chaos involved.
