Holy shit, I think this bowl of ramen may have just saved my sanity. If only I had some green tea to go with it...
Well today was good by all standards. PT was relatively short and easy though it did make me regret making yesterday chest and tricep day. afterward I showered, changed and checked the boards, my email and myspace. We had a quick morning formation after which myself, my roommate and our team leader returned to our room and more or less shot the shit till lunch(went over some quick classes but essentially no learning took place, a good day!) just before lunch however our other team leader came into the room and we had a rank off big boy talk which I willnt be transcribing here out of respect to a number of people. 1145 or so we took off to the defac and ate chow, returned to the room to await further orders/nap till our next formation. 1335 rolls around and is time to get out side, we have our formation including the promotion of our teamleader(the one who was initially in the room with us that morning) and our weekly safety briefing. afterward we were told to head up to the cp to wait for our passes, during which time one of the sergeants who had been at a school for the past week returned and having been gone for such a period of time felt the need to make his presence felt, and prceeded to drop us all. after a short time we recieved our passes and were sent on our merry way to enjoy the weekend.
...and my plans for this auspicious day weekend? sit on my ass and make use of my newly acquired internet connection, drink myself half retarted and possibly leave post to take in the sights of the peaceful italian countryside.
