In observance of the Friday 13th full moon, here is my OC Gardevoir Phoebe readying the Moonblast attack!
This drawing is a product of several stages in my new setup. I photographed a Gardevoir figurine from the angle and lighting I wanted and loaded the photo into Procreate. I then traced and shaded Phoebe. I created the surface of the moon the same way: I loaded an image of a full moon over the sphere and used various brushes and tweaks to get the effect.
Someday, probably soon, I will be able to pose Gardevoir in my mind alone and draw Phoebe this well without any tracing. It's challenging to work out the way the dress hangs from only a mental image.
The park scene is still in progress, but I've had to undo a lot of the work after discovering better ways to use Procreate. It will be out eventually, but I'm working on other less complicated projects at the same time to keep releases consistent!
As for Pokรฉmon GO, I've hatched many eggs this week and got all of the regionals! Shiny Azurill hatched, but no shiny Regionals yet. 18.4 km this week so far, 62 eggs.
