Hello everyone!
I am quite amazed by the attention my cat photos got! It was the first post to get 10+ loves in my growing blog.
Well, as you can probably tell by now I love cats. If the "pigeonholes" part of my profile allowed more than three CAT-egories (see what I did there :P), I would have definitely added the Cat Lover.
Curiously, back in the mid 2000s, while attending college, I was clueless about girls. Can't say I've advanced much since then, but sticking to topic: I was reading a book on how to be attractive to women and the book said cats are not manly and are very often dealbreakers in dating. Basically "don't be yourself, get rid of your cat, buy my books; or you can keep the cat and die alone, buy my books." Gullible young me lost a ton of self-esteem over that, not realizing it was just trashy magazine advice.
Since then, I've known plenty of women that love cats and that author couldn't have been more wrong.
I primarily started this blog showing my Pokémon fanart and fanfics, but as cats and photography are also interests of mine, and seeing the responses, it looks like I'll be adding more kitty pics in the future!
So, time to meet the star of the show! Her name is Sasha and she is a 14 year old Abyssinian. She has a very friendly personality and will sit with and snuggle with anyone, even visitors! If one of you were to visit here, she would approach you, get in your lap, probably get on your shoulder and sniff your ears, then curl up in your lap and purr. Even with strangers!
She is hands down the most amiable cat I've ever owned. She is an old kitty now, but the way she runs and plays, you'd never know her age. My parents and I just call her "kitty," and she will come to that name if you call her! As I stated earlier, she'll purr during cuddles; she purrs loud enough to hear across the room. She is so sweet.
So, look for more pics in the future! I have plenty of old pictures and will keep taking new photos.
Thank you all for supporting my humble blog. Of course the models are the foundation of this community, but it is nice to have a niche in this wonderful like-minded corner of this crazy world.
