I have a theory about the western standard of beauty. It has to do with women's bodies, from the waist & above, versus below the waist. It seems to me, above the waist, women's bodies have a lot to do with nurture - the arms that embrace, the breasts that suckle, the hair that frames the face, the face that communicates, & kisses. This half is where the most variance among women lies, making many women feel insecure. It is also the main locus of our standard of beauty. Men want women with big, well formed breasts, silky, luxuriant hair, big limpid eyes, cute, proportioned noses, kissable lips.
Below the waist, women's bodies are much more about dynamic actions, & the muscles that enable them: calves, legs, thighs, & those glorious glutes! Today, girls with tiny waists, & long, thin, tapered legs may be the fashion, but, from the Darwinian point of view, those characteristics would not have been advantageous to the thriving of our species. Our ancestors needed to be strong, on the bottom half, to survive. And, it seems clear that the primal locus of sexual attraction was on the legs, thighs, ass, & that mysterious chrysalis of all life, the vagina.
I want to say, in my book, it's ALL good! Women are beautiful all over! But, I seem to notice that, not only do my fellow males seem to emphasize above the waist beauty; they seem to resent a woman changing herself to try fitting in, through plastic surgery. This hardly seems fair! Moreover I have seen that some of our most beautiful models feel less attractive, because they have fuller legs, thighs, & buttocks. If we started celebrating the primal things that make women powerful & strong, how much more fair & welcoming we would be!
I think of two dear friends of mine - @FLEETWOOD, & @KEZIA. I think, they both have the most beautiful faces, & stunning breasts, but both are blessed with the most gorgeous, full thighs & legs! And each has a caboose that is off the hook. By the original human standard of beauty, they are, easily, the most beautiful women here! They deserve to feel beautiful about what makes them icons of female power!
Some types of women suffer, in the numbers, because they are built like women were supposed to be. Athletic women - I think of @LO_, whom I've mentioned before. I find her, a spectacular beauty! She doesn't have big breasts, because she has more muscle than fat. She has wonderfully developed legs & thighs, from playing sports. She deserves to have her beauty celebrated!
Black women tend to have bigger thighs & smaller breasts. I think of some of the utterly stunning women -@DULCEAMARGO, @RHEAA, @HARA, @KIKET (mi Puerto Riquena favorite), as well as @MIDNIGHT SUN & @JIMISIN, who happen to have bigger breasts. Every black woman on this site is extraordinary, & deserves to be celebrated!
Recently, it occurred to me that, perhaps, full figured women, suffer, in the eyes of men, because they are too big to knock down, & control. And that's a good thing about them, I think of the regal @CHEF, my favorite Irish girl next door, @BENSON, & my French goddess @AZAZEL - Truly splendid women, who deserve to be celebrated!
The standard of beauty is already moving south. Bill Maher calls this generation, "generation ass". We can change the culture! We can get these icons of female power the appreciation they deserve! It only takes a few people to start a trend. Each one knows somebody, who knows somebody... If we simply share, within our spheres of influence, we can do this.
Finally, I invite my fellow gentlemen to join me in a new thing. In all my texts & comments to the ladies, I am adding S.P. (for safety pin) to let them know, I fully respect their minds, bodies, & rights..
