I have a colonoscopy tomorrow. Ooh, fun. Due to that, I had to begin preparing today. I could not have any solid food today. At all. Breakfast was a cool whip container of orange jello. Lunch was 12 little handi-pak tubs of orange jello. If I never see orange jello again, that would be just fine. When I got home from work, I had to take the first of 2 liquid laxatives. I had a couple bowls of chicken broth and went up to my room(Our bathroom is upstairs and I wanted to be as close as possible.) Numerous trips to the john passed the time. I took the 2nd liquid hell at 7:30. More trips down the hall. 10pm was time to take 4 laxative tablets. I had another bowl of broth. More trips. I had to drink two bottles of water before midnight and then nothing til after the procedure(Which, by the way, how come something that is done in a doctor's office would be called sodomy and rape anywhere else?) So as I sit here in my bedroom, with Sammy lying on the bed next to me, I can't wait for 8:30 to have this over and done with so I can eat something. Sorry for the venting. I will post when I know how the test went.
