Today is the 10th anniversary of the day my father passed away, just over six years after my mother died.

It's hard to believe it has been that long. It still feels so raw at times. My parents were great people, and great teachers for me. They gave me and my brother a loving and entertaining childhood, despite a lot of hard times. It kills me to know that eventually any kids I have will only know my parents through stories and pictures.
