Super Bowl Sunday!!!!!!!
Just passing the time until the Patriots take on the Giants. I think the Pats will take this one, but it is the superbowl, and anything can happen. I'm hoping it is a competitive game, I like to see my team win, but a blow-out is pretty lame for the biggest game of the year.
Last night me and HathOriginal went to a friend's house to watch the UFC pay-per-view. It was a good time, and I made chilli for chilli-cheese dogs. I changed up the normal way I cook the chilli in order to make it a bt milder for the crowd, and in order to make it thicker so it would stick to the hot dogs a bit more. It was real good, and we have a lot left over for the game today (chilli is best after a couple of days anyway). My brother Skinneephat1 is also going to make his spicy chicken wraps for the game today, so we will all be fat and happy when it is all done.
I've decided that this year I need to spend at least some of my tax return on something for me, even though I have a lot of debt to pay off. I mean, I've been busting my ass 6 or 7 nights a week all year, so I should treat myself. True to form, I think I'm going to get myself a pot to cook my chilli in (because it seems I keep having to cook bigger and bigger batches), and also a new deep fryer. I need a deep fryer in my house, I haven't cooked empinadas in forever. My fault though, I drove the last one into the ground I used it so much.
Any Super Bowl plans for you? Anything else going on? Anything amusing to share? Any comment is nice, it gives me something to read and respond to when I get home from work in the morning and I don't have anyone around the house to talk to for 8 hours.
EDIT: Fuck!! Okay, so the Patriot's lost. It was a hell of a game, and the Giants really earned it. I'm happy for Strahan. A player like that deserves a trophy before he retires. But still...FUCK!!!!
