Things have been pretty good for the last couple weeks. After my two uncles passed away three weeks ago, the family decided we don't see each other enough, so now we have a reunion in a week and a half. This is very cool.
I got to pay a visit to an old friend who was in town from Virginia when her husband's battleship was in Boston for the 4th. It was nice to travel up to her parents house with HathOriginal and just have a nice conversation for a few hours. I think Jenny really enjoyed hearing some amusing storied from back in my heyday as well
The 4th itself was kind of a letdown. The weather was rainy, and Jenny was feeling some serious homesickness for her family back in South Dakota. So next year we are going to try and make it back to SD for the 4th, and Jenny would like to maybe take a trip through Brookings to visit the delightful Kleio.
