Not a very good start to the Holiday week. While on the way to work last night, I was pulled over and my car was impounded for a past due speeding ticket that I had forgotten to pay. I can't get my car until Tuesday, and I am scheduled for work every night this week. I'm pretty sure that I can get a ride to work from either my brother (hopefully soon to be on SG) or Jenny (AKA the wonderful Hathor), but I hate to have to ask for favors from anybody. It's bad enough that some poor bastard had to stay for an overnight shift last night after their already long day shift, all because I got pulled over. I'm going to owe them big time. *Le sigh*
I'm not even trying to think about what having to pay an old ticket, having to pay a new ticket, and getting my car out of three days of impound will cost me. I guess that the rest of my X-mas shopping will have to wait until I can make sure that I can pay rent and such.

I hope you are all having a fun time with your family and friends. Or at least making the most of a shitty situation if things are not ideal these days.
