Quiet weekend ahead for the most part. I dropped Ishtars_Star off at the airport yesterday for her weekend trip back to South Dakota and Nebraska. She'll be back Monday, but until then I have the apartment to myself for the most part.
My boss's wedding is tomorrow evening. Thank god it's at night. The last wedding I went to was at 10:00am and was a full catholic mass, uuuggghhh! This wedding should be a good time though. They have the hall until 1am, but we'll probably need to take the afterparty somewhere.
Hmmm...what else...oh yeah, I turn 30 on Sunday the 20th. For you horror geeks, I do share my B-day with H.P. Lovecraft. In preparation for leaving my 20's I've joined the Geezers group here on SG. I haven't posted yet though, not until I hit the big 30. It should be a quiet birthday. Jenny is out of state and I am working. Next weekend though will be my party. I know it's being planned by my brother, because he's been looking for a way to get in touch with a lot of my friends. I was supposed to go to his house next Saturday for the UFC pay-per-view, that's where it will happen no doubt. At least there will be some good food, as I was planning on bringing a big old pot of jambalaya to the payperview. Along with some empenadas and some killer deviled eggs. Yum. My friends being who they are, I expect to get some geritol and other gifts for the older folks.
Once my birthday is out of the way, it's time to get down to business for Halloween. It's the best time of year here right next to Salem. And with the psychotic group of artists that I call friends, it's usually great. Check out my pics for some past costumes at my Halloween parties.
