Okay, vacation's over and I have to go to work tonight. It was a very, very relaxing week. I didn't do too much, my friend Melanie came into town for a day and we went to the museums in Salem. I saw X3. I did a lot of talking on the phone with Hathor and sat around in the air conditioning. All in all it was nice.

Now it's time to throw myself into work and start saving. I may go back to 7 nights a week for a while, we'll see how I feel I guess.

I can honestly say that I am happy right now, truly happy for the first time in a decade or so. Even the irritating little details of everyday life that used to bug me just roll off my back right now. I hope it continues this way for a long time.

As of right now, it's about 45 days until Hathor gets off the plane and spends her birthday with me. I can't stop staring at the calender.

I'm currently in the early stages of planning a party/barbecue in August. Anyone nearby (or not ) interested?
