Hi there^^ I really like to write poems and even though I am from Germany, most of my poems are English. So here is one and I hope you enjoy reading it:
Open your eyes

Living in a world of arrogance and money,
When I think of it, this isn’t even funny.
Money makes the world go round, they say,
But all I see is pain, day after day.
They give you the feeling that you are free,
That’s all talk, go out and try to flee.
On the outside they’re fooling you, working as a team,
A peaceful world, without war, that is just a dream!
All they can see is the money they can collect,
In their eyes you are nothing more but an insect.
Don’t be an ignoramus or one of those flies,
Now is the time to open your eyes!
