You all know that I have spent the weekend at the first ever (hopefully not the last one) Russian shootfest, which was held in Saint-Petersburg. It has always been my dream to get to one and this dream came true! Most of you have been asking me to tell about it, so here I am doing my very best :)
I've moved to another city recently and had to take a 29 hour train ride to get to Saint-P, which was not very bad, because most of the way I had the whole compartment to myself + also I met @milkwaite before we even got to Saint-P, since she happened to ride the same train!
Saint-Petersburg met us with sunshine and super warm weather, which was an amazing suprsise!
Throwing our sweaters back to suitcases we got out of the train and headed to meet the girls. We all gathered in a coffeehouse and had to wait for @janesinner to come and pick us up.
As soon as we got to our house, we were awestruck by how gorgeous it is! And preparations for shooting had begun! Make-up, clothes, girls running around in their undies, music playing, pictures being taken, laughter, jokes...Oh God, I miss it already!
Our days started very very early, because we all had to have enough time to have breakfast, shower and get ready for shooting, which happened pretty much non-stop during the day. Several photographers were working at the same time! And sometimes they even had to work while everybody else was enjoying their lunch ;D
Some people asked me, if it's hard to shoot while there are so many people around you. Well, I'd say it wasn't hard for me at all! Girls are very supportive and also very helpful. (for example @anoukevil was always there with an ice cube to help me wake up my nipples :D) But sometimes they can get too funny and you end up with backstage photos like these...
I have also met my darling @zumie there, which was a BLAST!! Never wanted to leave that girl!!! I knew that she's amazing, but I didn't quite know, just how amazing she was!
All in all, the atmosphere during the shootfest has been extremely warm! I was surrounded by gorgeous, funny, caring and loving girls, who I can tell, I love endlessly now! We had fun during the day and nice conversations during the evening tea and even our own little silent discos during the night ;)
So I want to say thank you to amazing @janesinner for organazing such an event, for devoting your time and your strength and love to make it perfect!
Thank you @andrealaz , @maximsamsonov , @skopintseva and other photographers (who don't have an account yet, but will soon) for doing your very best and helping us out and spending so much time shooting the girls. Working with you have been SUCH a pleasure!
