So thank you to everyone who droped a line on my birthday. I had a great day, the perfect blend of fancy and raunchy, high brow and trashy. The day and night summed up my life farly well.
As for this week I'm actually going to be in Chicago most of the time. Other than a trip to RI for Friday I should be here.

So as the clock counts down to 34, I have to say that life is good. I love my job, have a couple dollars in the bank, travel the country, have great friends and some what of a truce with my family, and am fairly content with where i am in the world. That should be enough to keep me from bitching, right?

Victory in New Orleans followed by the inevitable victory celebration. Left the French Quarter at 7:30 this morning, slept for 3 hours and flew home. No work Friday or this weekend. Suggestions as to how I should amuse myself are welcomed.

What happend was, my hair would not bleach. I mean refused to, except one little streak which turned orange, than the pink dye got all over everywhere and turned my hair reddish blackish purple and dyed my face temporarily red....
So I'm in the thick of it here in New Orleans. My voice is about 75%, but should be back within the next two days. I'll try to do a more substantive post if it hits a lull.

It's too late/early to call. I'll be home all day today but I'll be in bed by 10 tonight. Hopefully. I've been workin on this really big project that is turning out to be challenging and fun and a reminder of why this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. And it's all turning out so damn good. Thanks gawd.
