finals week in art school means not leaving the studio for a week straight. although i did get to witness a car exploding in the parking deck across the street at five in the morning.

and i finished all but one of my major projects, but the one i didn't finish is extremely complicated and so my teacher gave me an A anyway on the premise that i will finish it soon.

entirely hand-forged and welded steel. all i have left to do is grind it down a bit, shine it up, sharpen it, finish carving the handle and set stones into said handle, and rivet the handle on to the tang. that's all. haha.

and now off i run to make muffins.
