I have made a mistake. At least this time around I caught on to it sooner.

There is little solace in that fact however. With my mistake I have set one person on a path from which she can not deviate. She is stuck.

And so, am I.

It wasn't supposed to feel like this; this whole utter feeling of loneliness was supposed to be gone. Then, why, does it feel heightened ten fold?

The little one does not want me here; her mother is stressed and torn by that.

I only feel like I'm in the way.

I belonged somewhere once.

As is my typical running streak, I have fucked up.

Always lost. Always alone.

This is not how it was meant to be.
