so im back from california. i think that was one of the most educating experiences of my life. i went to siggraph, and for those of us that arent supernerds its a conference for people in the entertainment industry and other higher end computer stuff. i dont know if ill get a job out of it, but i certainly have become exponentially more educated about how to go about it...!
we had an 80's party at my house before i flew out to cali, at which i decided to cut loose a bit and have a fun time. i had one of my friends get a baggie of flour or something to act like it was coke. hey, its the 80's right? so in cali i get a nasty text from my ex demanding i explain why i was running around doing blow. apparently knowing me for nearly 3 years and dating me for 5 months isnt enough to realize that:
1. im out of the drug usage stage of my life
2. i never got into coke
3. ive advised people against it as ive seen what it does to you.
good to know how well people know me ya know? geez
im gonna have to add some pix of that party, it was rediculous fun.
i think that people around me, not discluding me, have and are changing a lot. foccus has gone from partying like a rock star to looking at a career. so now im once again strongly considering moving out to california to pursue my dreams. i love colorado, but theres just nothing here for me anymore. friend wise and job wise, which turns out to be a lot more important. a friend of mine lives in cali already,and another friend from here is moving out there to go to college. talk about an oppurtunity, eh? i think its the chance of my lifetime, its time to see where my life is going to lead me.
