its still raining. its been somethign rediculous like a month straight of rain. this is good, except its a cold rain. a few weeks ago i got a chain letter that tells you about your personality through a buddhist perspective. it asked me to select an order for a couple animals. they later equate to an order in which you value things such as money and family and career. the very first thing it listed for myself was pride. (tiger) with that said, its become obvious that pride has been fucking with me for a while now. my parents are paying off over half of my student loans. NOT ok. im still rotting my life away in costco. NOT ok. im going to have to go back to school because for various reasons things were not done properly my first try. NOT ok.

my mom said its a shame pride was the first thing on my list... pride isnt a good thing. i used to think it was, but i realized last night that i have pride and honor confused. they dont mean the same thing, although theyre close and easily confused or misused as the case may be. that said, i have to put aside my foolish pride and ambition and move foward with what i have under my belt. if you go through life making the same mistakes and never learning from them... well.. youre in for a shitty life.
