I forgot in my last entry to mention a phone call I received from my mother at about 3:30 this morning. The basic idea of it was that I can't live with my parents if I continue to stay out so late. I think she intended me to say, "I'll be right home" and to never stay out past midnight again. Instead, I said, "Oh, okay." And then she tried to guilt trip me for a while. And when she finally let me go, I went back to sleep, in the bed of a guy who will remain nameless and who I have been enjoying sleeping with on a regular basis. (Sorry Mom!

Despite the fact that I'm 19, I live on my own 1300 miles from home, pay my own bills, work part time and go to school full time....when I go home, my mom still expects me to be home at a "reasonable hour."
While I respect the fact that it's her house, and she worries about me...it's irritating sometimes.
She's gotten used to me being out until all hours of the night when I come home now, though. Usually she gives me "the look" when she sees me next and says "What time did you get in last night?"
Me: "Oh, about 4AM."
She sort of rolls her eyes. Heh.
Glad you enjoyed my last entry, I hope it made some kind of sense.
Do you know if Ace is happening this Saturday? I don't know if I can handle another SGNY saturday night (and I may have other plans) but I might be up for hanging out in the afternoon. You should come!
