My mom is still in the hospital, long road to recovery. And then I find that my dad is struggling with headaches and chest pain. Stress is my best guess. Does call the doctor? No. Generational thing is my guess. He doesn't talk to anyone, just bottles it all up. I have no siblings, so no one for assitance. Most of my friends have young kids now, so they are always busy. The plight of an only child with aging parents.
