Trip to Sam's Club...
I suppose my thing for redheads falls somewhere between fetish and obsession. My wife is well aware of this, and frequently will point them out to me, though usually I spot them first. It's almost like a game of tag. While wandering through the aisles I saw one. When I thought she had turned the other way and was around the...

Ten years ago I built my house on what used to be farmland. I love living away from the city while still being close enough to everything. We have all kinds of wildlife passing through the yard, deer, foxes and bald eagles to name a few. Mice and rabbits are permanent residents. They were here first, and I built my house on top...

Hey - we get those box elders too! Blackish with narrow bodies? Those things are worse than japanese beetles!
radii:
blasted little things I hate mice! Not because I feed them to my snake but b/c they are filthy cannibals. Mr. and Ms. Snake-ums do not eat wild mice for fear of parasites lol... Ants don't really bother me I like to think of them as roving clean up crews lol
A sense of humor and optimism.
Bad news...
It all started back in November 2006, just before Thanksgiving. I had this "thing" on my right arm. It had been there for quite a while, and it wouldn't go away. On the contrary, it kept getting bigger and uglier. Finally I had looked at it long enough. I picked up the phonebook and called a dermatology...

Amazing story! I'm glad you were able to beat it (and with a sense of humor btw)! Try to make it to NYC before May, the exhibit ends April 26th. Hurry!!!

I hate getting up early. I never sleep well when the alarm is set.
I went to the doctor last Friday, and the nurse gave me a brochure about a medical study being done at the university. They were looking for volunteers. I fit the profile being studied. It involves exercise, something else I hate. But I so lack motivation, I felt that perhaps participating...

Boy, do I feel your pain! I have to talk myself into exercising every morning. But I just can't go back to huffing and puffing and being out of shape. As we say in Weight Watchers, "nothing tastes as good as thin feels."
I wish you luck! (with the medical trial and your exercise)

Well you must be doing something right, cause you look pretty damn good to me.
I'll keep that in mind, but I've never been thin.

"It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it's told."
Ah, the healing process.
People without tattoos (most of the people I know) often ask, "doesn't that hurt?" I say, "not really." Outlining feels like the sharp corner of a plastic card scratching slowly over your skin. Shading and coloring is more like a small wire brush. Once it's done, it feels...

I cheated last night and took off my bandages a little early, then jumped in the shower and got it cleaned up. When I started out, the water was a bit hot. That was no fun. Ow.

Up until yesterday, I've really only tested my artist's technical tattooing skills. This one was my first time testing his artistic skills, going from verbal concept to tattoo....

Niiice tattoo. Your artist did a fine job. A really well-balanced design from the colors to the geometry.
I got mom's memorial tattoo today. Just a couple of hours work.
There's a topic over in the tattoo group discussing how to deal with pain. Most people say ribs are the worst. One of my tattoos just touches my bottom ribs. I have to admit there was a noticable difference, in spite of my extra padding.
Today's work was left center chest. A few...

No painkillers for me either.

Hey - take a pic and post in the a.m. so we can see!
I've heard ribs were bad - if they're as bad as my center chest one was, then forget it!
I like to take ibuprofen after to take down the swelling and heat, but that's all!

Well my cold seems to be on the decline. I actually got 6 hours of sleep in a row last night.
Had an interesting lunch with my wife today. We went to a Chineese place that neither of us had been to in well over 15 years (we've only known each other for 7 years). We started off with a BBQ pork appetizer which came...

Alot of my patients are stuck in there ways, with them being a older crowd. Occasionally get the cool grams and gramps. Very rare though. I usually just let them talk and tell me there life story. Sometimes I think either they have no family left or no one listens to them anymore. So I help them out and listen.
As expected my visit to the dermatologist went just fine. For the last three years I've been going for regular skin checks. It started out every 3 months, then for the last year 6 months, and now he doesn't want to see me til next year. WOO HOO!!

We look at sets together all the time. I guess it just wouldn't be okay for anyone to look at MY set.

Almost all my adult life I've had facial hair in one form or another. Most of that just a mustache, though the last couple years a goatee as well. My wife had never seen me without my mustache. We've been together for almost 7 years. Recently I was thinking of losing the beard. This morning I decided to go for it. Take a good look...

Its always one of those things that you get used to when someone has facial hair. My ex and I were together for almost 8yrs. He shaved and I was like Honey I love you, I really do BUT you are not doing that ever again! LOL! He was like I know. Haha!
I dont think you look bad at all.

Thanks. Part of the motivation in this little experiment was to lose the grey hairs. I forgot how hard it was to shave under my nose. On the bright side my labret really stands out. That was tricky to shave around too.
