Went to the Twins - Mariners game tonight and saw a few interesting things. My first homerun review by the umpires. The second base ump got it wrong and the crowd knew it. They looked at it and got it right.

Documentary film maker Ken Burns threw out the first pitch.

Got to see Matt Capps get his first save as a Twin. He throws hard. Stiil not sure they needed a closer.

The Twins are now 3-0 when my wife and I see them at Target Field.
They are 0-5 when we see them on the road.

Progressive Field

Kauffman Stadium

The travel has been a blast, but I wish they would win a fucking game. I'm beginning to take it personally.

But perhaps the best moment of the evening didn't even happen on the field, it happened in the stands. They had already done their between inning "kiss cam" earlier in the game. They were just doing generic crowd shots and happened to spot a couple of hotties. At least one of the girls knew they were on the big screen, She grabbed the other one and turned her head towards herself and was about to give her a huge kiss full on the lips when the camera quick cut away. There was a low groan from the crowd. Every guy in the park was ready for some girl on girl action.
