It's funny, on Saturday I went to an underground rap concert and there was this one song that effected me more than the rest. The hook was "You can't win so stop tryin'. Stop Lyin'!" And tonight I watched the Brooke Ellison Story on tv, a movie about a girl who becomes quadraplegic at a young age.
I can do anything. My plan for myself was to get a GED and get a job. Only recently I realized I want to work in a bank. But what sucks is that I have to do it myself.
No one stands with me to tell me to do this or that. There are things the government can help me with, but they don't want to. I have to demand it. I have to make sure my needs are met because they will do anything to keep it from me.
I just want to live. I just want a job to contribute to society and to do something with my life. I want accomplishments I can be proud of. People don't realize how easy things are for them, the world is built for them. I have to make my own path.

Trust me on this - Be happy with any job you can get. As a disabled (but not too much) Military Intelligence veteran with a college degree, I'm making $90 a week on unemployment. If you can get yourself ANY job, keep it and be happy you've got it.
