back in portland, yay!
this new hampshire visit was actually the best i've taken. i managed to see pretty much everybody i like in the whole northeast, including the ever-reclusive cheapart. and steph and stobbs and moo and stina and the usuals. i also met and briefly hung out with Gracy, who is a very pleasant human.
aaaand on top of finishing some old tattoos, i did a few new ones. and i'm pretty stoked on them. here, look:

i have to thank the lovely 10eisha for having this girl get these cat portraits from me. they were real fun, and she was really nice. and tough, too... she got one cat on the inside of her calf and one on the outside, in one 5 hour sitting. i guess "gretchen" is a little brain damaged, and she said i did a good job capturing that, hahahahaha.
this is the first pinup girl i've ever done. taken straight from alberto vargas artwork, with a few color changes. i'm happy with it.
aaand this is my favorite. i did a moo portrait on Friday for her xmas present. moo is the dog that used to be mine, but i had to leave her behind when i came to portland. i love that animal. durrrrr

-so. yeah. i'm goign to be in portland for christmas and new years, without the parents around. weird. i don't know what i'm doing on either holiday.
-i think i might actually have a real beard now.
-i stole my acoustic guitar back from my mom. now i can write even dumber songs.
-i read a book about the real-life plight of the whaleship Essex, the story upon which melville based moby dick. it was crazy. now i'm going to read moby dick.
-i think i'm going to buy a real bed for myself. instead of just a crappy twin mattress on the floor. i know, i'm goin' crazy.
-if you didn't catch it when i announced it last time, i will be working at the 2007 philadelphia tattoo convention this february 2nd-4th. come get tattooed, yo.
