Home again, and back at work. CA was awesome. Disneyland kinda sucked- it was so packed we were only able to ride about 5 rides all day because every line was about 2 hours long. SO make a mental note- week after Christmas = not a good time to go to Disneyland. The only saving grace was that the tickets were at least free, and the haunted mansion was still decorated for Nightmare Before Christmas
Saturday night we checked out a cool little bar in Huntington Beach (thanks Amina), the jukebox was awesome. We were gonna stop off at a strip club on the way home, but the cover charge was obsene.
My favorite part of the trip however was Sunday morning before we left. Matt took me to Sadlands and we walked around together and he riddled about the old days. I loved it.
So lets round this off with an assignment: What is your best New Year's Eve story? C'mon, tell me!

-arriving early to a friend's party in order to keep them company.
-sampling everything there was to drink by 9 pm.
-passing out with some kind of tiara on at 10:30.
-waking up in time to ring in the new year by puking on my friend's couch. several times.
-hearing about it many times in the years to come.
aahh, the good ol days in tempe...
i had a small get-together a couple years ago, maybe 8 close friends. i lived in a studio basically right across the street from the space needle in seattle (where there are festivities and LOTS of people) and thought we could watch the fireworks from the roof (which was scary in itself because you have to crawl up the fire escape rickety rusty ladder like five hundred and six teen thousand . 4 feet). So we are on the roof, my friend from S.F. has his snazzy new digividcam and is shooting us being goofs... I mention to someone that I bought some water balloons... long story short (let me know if you would like to see the video, hear an apology, or know more details) manymanymany angry wet people, police, muddy, birdshitty apartment and all of my pots and pans, buckets and bowls dripping with water and laughter.
happy one to ya
