The Format last night was probably the best show I've seen in a loooooong time. Those kids are so fucking rad. I did feel a little out of place though. I went alone, and I was maybe 10 years older than the average person there. And anyone there my age or older was there with their kids. 
Dude, I'm only 25. I shouldn't feel like an old maid if I go to shows, should I?
There's so many fucking rad shows coming to town this summer (Dramarama, Stiff Little Fingers, The Pixies, and a bunch more I can't remember right now), and this time, I'm not missing any of them. There's really no excuse for it anymore. I don't hav eto find a babysitter, I have plenty of money. I'm fucking taking advantage of this time while I still can, goddammit.
Tonight it's back to the Pub Quiz. We've decided to retire the team name Kathleen Turner Overdrive. Jeff came up with a new one that rules: Carl & The Gang. It's kind of an inside joke having a little to do with the song "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang, and a lot to do with Carl from the movie Slingblade. I'd explain, but it probably wouldn't be as funny if I told you.

I love the pixies...they are definately one of the most influential bands I listened too when growing up. I am jealous you are going to see them

I feel the same way, I'm missing nothing now unless it starts too early, life's too short to not be the old people at the show.
