Weekend was ruling. Completely. Yesterday was so much fun, BroBQ at Mr. & Mrs. Pearcy's house. Pearcy's wife, Amy made a ton of food, and I brought the fixins for red-headed sluts, and Nate and I loaded everyone up.
We played horseshoes, and threw dice, and drank many a beers. It was good times.
Pearcy & Amy's daughter, little 3 year-old Sydney was the best. When we put on the Darkness, she started bobbing her head and throwing up rock ons while swaying back and forth on the swingset. It was the greatest thing I think I've ever seen.
After the Q, Nate filed us all into the Half Empties mobile to go to The Breakroom for an hour or so of karoake, then we all bailed back to the Rogue where we'd left Pearcy working the door earlier.
After giving Amy a ride back home, I decided it wasn't too late to head out to Ahwatukee to catch the last little bit of Jeff and Ronnie playing old Genepool songs at Bar Nun. They even called me up to sing a little half rendition of Britney Spears Baby One More Time. It was really pretty funny.
I'm barely functioning on maybe 3 hours sleep. Nate's already called me at 7:30 this morning to meet up for beers after work. I may have to take a raincheck though. I'm pooped!
Friday and Saturday were pretty rad as well. Bounced back and forth between the Rogue and Sugar Daddies 'till 1:00, then accompanied Jeff afterward to the place where he's housesitting. It's a super rad house, and the dog he's looking after while he's there is my new best friend.
Saturday night I was going to head up to the Rogue alone for a couple of hours, but I was too lazy to motivate, plus I was waiting for a call on the possibility the boys might wrap up the wedding they were playing at in time for us to make it out before 1:00. That didn't happen so Jeff and I met for coffe after 1:00 and then stayed up until 4:00am watching Army of Darkness. It was good times.
So tell me, what did you all do?
