I am not even sure where I am up to so I will carry on from Rome but before I do that just a small rant. So I have been travelling for 6 weeks now and while I am enjoying the sites and all, it has been lonely. I am travelling by myself but unlike most people who are attractive and therefore have no trouble befriending people for me it is a struggle. I have a lot of trust issues so usually I wait for someone else to make the move before I decide if they are worth trusting for awhile.
Rome was the first big city I went to and it took me a couple of days to see it all. If I had waited a day I could of gone to the coliseum for free since it is free entry on the first Sunday of the month. I did go to the Vatican museum and sistinne chapel as well and it was quite awe inspiring. It was a bit marred when I got mugged but I didn't lose much and this was after I held off two muggers before.
12 hours later in maples I had my tablet stolen by a guy on the back of a motorbike while I was trying to find my way around. I have nothing good to say about maples either way since it is a very dirty city. I never got the chance to see pompey except via a hotel guests photos. He was pretty helpful and we did go into the city to do some things.
Luxembourg was beautiful and everyone was so nice. I didn't do a lot except walk around and I found some street art
Then there was Paris. It gets a bad rap for being snobbish but that isn't true at all or at least from what I have seen. My previous post I mentioned that I got tattooed by @lestis and she did a wonderful job. There is just so much to do in Paris and I only did a small part of it although the parts I wanted to do so that is OK.
Now I leave London for Wales buT I will talk about my London stay or the first half of it in another post
