I was determined not to blog here, as I don't really belong. But anyhoo. Should anyone ever be curious.
My first interest in SG was as an offshoot to the music I was making - I liked the aesthetic. Then I stayed for a while for the pictures. Increasingly, however, I log on for the stories of people's lives. Partly for entertainment, partly to exercise my empathy gene. I don't run with the alt crowd any more, it's like stepping back in time. And yet it's a part of me that's always willing to come out, even if it's just wearing para boots with a suit.
The pics side is weird. This site makes me feel old. Going to indie clubs makes me feel old. I mean, I _am_ relatively old, but somehow being here makes me feel even worse, as if there's something or some stage I haven't moved on to. Sigh. Beans.
