Well, I *am* skulking around my apartment alone, physically paying for my mistake of relapsing last week while she's on the East Coast already. So I don't think it's going much better for me. But we'll see.
Though I think that blaming too much of my situation on my fatalism would be wrongly ignoring the responsibillity of some of my more charming personality characteristics...
