Well, today was pretty sweet. I didn't get much work done, but it's ok, I needed and deserved a break.
So I got up, made some fucking awesome oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, read some Plato. Had parowki and some Polish bread for lunch - god bless Chicago and its Polish neighborhood, so I can eat some proper meals - then I met up with Colie and Ruchama and went thrifting. Quite a windfall - 6 new shirts at 2 bucks a pop. Fuck yeah. 2 sexy shirts, 2 warm shirts, 1 hockey jersey, and 1 t-shirt with a rattlesnake tied to a cactus that says Arizona Bulldog. Rad. Then we went to this awesome mexican place in hp, which it turns out delivers, so i may start eating a lot of their food. then colie and i hit jimmy's, hard. then we hit the kid's house even harder. by the end of the night, i was holding colie's beer so that she could skip down the hall. that girl makes me smile. she rocks. anyhow, i was still kicking ass at liar's dice. oh, and for all of y'all from portland, jane davis is in town, so she was there as well. good to see her. she beat me at liar's dice, but i guess we can still be friends.
anyhow, to conclude, riding the bus is a business best left to professionals, or at least those who can drink beer, because i don't think hard liquor works well for such games, at least, not if one intends to retain consciousness.
i have to get up early in the morning. good night.
