Ok, so maybe I should have mentioned before that I was leaving on the road trip on Monday. But Sunday night I was all distraught because Henri died. Before you start giving me shit about being upset over my fish dying, you need to understand that Henry was fucking awesome. Also, it wasn't like a come home and find your fish dead sort of thing, it was like a good 10 minute long process of watching him die slowly, and it sucked. So yeah, I was pretty upset.
Anyhow, Team Pearly Whites (not quite as awesome, but every bit as hot! And free!) set out on Monday. We made it to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where we stayed in an awesome tiny sleazy motel. Even better, we stayed in a smoking room. I had totally forgotten how awesome it is to lie in bed post-coitus and smoke cigarettes. And watch Iron Chef. So fucking rad.
The drive through Wyoming was surprisingly pretty. And way more pleasant than the drive through Nebraska, which is unbearably humid, especially when your car has no air conditioner.
Today was a short drive, just from Omaha to Kansas City, MO. Quite pretty. So now we're hanging out with somelameo's sister, and spending the night in her incredibly lovely house. It's swell.
Anyhow, yeah, so our shiny white smiles are hitting the road bright and early tommorrow morning, but don't expect updates until we get to DC.
Until then, um, keep brushing.

We were in love. He died over spring break of my freshman year, when his well meaning caretaker decided to clean his bowl. (I like to think it also had something to do with missing me.) At least I didn't have to see it. Even since our relationship I've had a very soulful attachment to goldfish.
Have a fun trip. *secret PBK handshake
