wow, so i'm not the only dork who thinks karaoke is a rockin good time eh? karaoke stories, anyone? what did you choose to sing? i did Joan Jett, I love rock n' roll (yes, i know, so did britney spears in crossroads) because it seemed fairly easy. i contemplated doing punk ock girl, by the dead milkmen, but i was worried that i'd get scared and screech the chorus, heh heh. as it turns out, you can barely hear yourself anyways, so i have no idea how well i did. and i had been drinking.
so i'm about to go and get some fake nails. i think this is gonna cure the nail biting. i fucking hope so, it got pretty bad in berlin and now it hurts to type. hopefully typing won't be too bad with the nails, i won't get them that long. i feel kind of bad though - m grandmother made the appointment for me, i hadn't realized how expensive it is...
it's really wierd, but i think that alcohol affects my mood in more longterm ways. i've been pretty mentally stable for awhile, but while in berlin, i was so unbelievably moody, it was almost scary. i dunno if it was just the excitement of being there and seeing old friends, or the fact that i was drinking vodka lemons all the goddamn day... not getting trashed - at least, not until later, but drinking a pretty good amount...
