Maybe ya'll could move here to the Lafayette area.I know of all the good spots in the surrounding areas that are still reasonably priced and the drive to B.R. is about 1 hour. Hell,I may be putting my place up for sale soon. I am starting a new job Monday and will be buying the truck(18 wheeler). I'd like to find some land further out in the country so that I can bring it home instead of parking it at the office. BTW,Lafayette has grown also. We used to be about 150k but we are about 200k now. B.R. is busting at the seams.They were about 250k but are now over 500k! This will be tough for quite a while as it will be tough on the parish government there due to the increase of welfare cases and high unemployment.Lafayette will be just fine as we had a bunch of open jobs and now those will be filled without having a large amount of people left over without jobs.
