i've become quite a junkie; i'd rather starve / be without my domestic services (fucking bills=puke ) than not have a new record everyday...i had to hop in and regulate at one point (because i'm well aware of my fiendish overindulgent tendencies) so now i am strictly limited to one a day....i know that if i didn't have that rule, i'd be in a lot...

oh my god, humanity (or lack thereof) makes me sick. i became so depressed after skool today after a long heated argument in my jazz/blues class about people not caring about the depths of music. it started out relative to people not tracing the roots of the music they like, and how odd i think that is...if you like a certain kind of music, wouldn't...

I agree with you whole heartedly about music. It nice to hear someone who stands up for their beliefs.
nopantsdave:
Would you rather have someone look at a piece of art and say, "Wow, that's cool." and then move on......or would you prefer them to look at it for awhile, try to interpret it and fail miserably by getting the completely wrong idea about the artist's intent?

rjd2 is the man..he's like my role model. i'd love more than anything to talk to him some day and pick at his brilliant brain a bit.
his style is incredible and his music hits me hard... everytime i hear one of his songs i have some sort of strange bodily reaction; i've found myself crying along to his songs on many occasions. those that...

i never hear the lyrics in most music. i dont even like lyrically driven music...it seems cheap. i like the emotion in the voice and in the noise. yeah

Sorry... I lied to you - you went offline before I could update you... I'm going over to my homie's who will not only smoke me down, but also help me get my TiVo and AirPort base station set up for wireless media sharing and software updates.

Hope I don't make a liar out of you at the bowl tonight. I'll go next week - I promise.

As if you care. whatever peace out, g.

(oh, and yes, isn't she a cutie? she's brilliant and multitalented, too.)

Erik is not my favorite homie. THat guy gives me the creepizoids. I think he's figured out that I don't like it when it comes up and randomly hugs me. EGH.

I hear ya. I've thought about this type of thing in the past adn part of me wonders if our technological world has made the physical world too small too quickly. I wonder if people are blatantly overwhelmed by the fact that they can even get daily reports on event in other countries around the world. There was a time, after all, when people didn't even get daily reports on events in other states. Maybe people aren't ready for the technology we have. If that is so, is it not frightening that the technology industry advances ever more quickly? Will it only serve to widen the gap for people who can't internalize the events of other nations? ... or are these people simply stuck in a child-like level of ego-centricity that no changes to technology could assist? *?GWAR? What is it good for?!*

I got lectured once while eating breakfast for lunch
Said dad to me "Reality is nothing but a collective hunch
Whatever you want the truth to be, simply fool the masses
Attack them mentally with tools of power like the Masters
Get em in elementary school and college classes
Eventually you'll overrule their cowardly asses
Don't worry about society, they're all horrible bastards"
With this...
