Project remodeling...
this is my bedroom...
....my place of zen.
ceiling framing has entirely too many pipes and wires hanging below it, plus the ac and heating vents and the i beams are also lower than it, so i need to also construct a whole new ceiling. frame up to level with the top of the cinder blocks to create a shelf style for the west wall. the north wall is the standard one, the south wall i need to build around the water heater and furnace. add a closet style door for access, as well as getting behind the tv area to run wiring. the east side of the bedroom portion, under the stairs, will be a closet. need to pull the drywall off and get the framing to both support closet size and door, as well as creating a ceiling rafter to the south wall, and cover the i beam's support pole.

i just realized i have not taken any pictures of the completed closet framing. but it went well.

all this done in two days. more picture i have not taken are the new wiring. added several outlets the lower west framing, all the lights need to be lowered from the current ceiling frame to the new one. they all also run off of one switch, which is in the closed off stairwell. had to rewire all of them to their own switches, and add a light in the stairwell for safety purposes. but once that was done, we had a slight mishap in the kitchen.
had a leak, but it could not be pinpointed, and hasnt returned yet. so whatever. remove drywall in a 7 foot by 11 foot section, plus one 4 by 13 foot section. clean the framing, soak in anti mold... replace...
in other news... this is my rebirth...
my brothers birthday party...
and then... my best friends birthday party...
his name is jason... he works with a movie production agency in phildelphia, has worked on transformers 2, the last air bender, a new movie with bradley cooper and robert de niro... in fact...
but anyways, this group of friends is the "good" one, the ones with their heads on straight, the calm ones, and grown ups... and the ones i have the most fun with the least amount of alcohol...

and once you find someone who takes all of your darkness without a flinch, but rather a firm cuddle, you start to slowly pour it all into them until...
... you realize that all you have left to show is the light.
I have not been this happy for this length of time since... well I cannot remember.
oh... almost forgot....
my first course is done online, 94 percent. loving being a student again, once the va fixes my slight gi bill glitch.
its cold lol
i'm pale again. ugh, i cannot wait until warm weather returns.
