This war is beginning to sound like masturbation with a cheese grater - It may be amusing at times but it is still mostly painful

"Whether you are for military action, or against it, our young men and women overseas are fighting for us to defend our right to speak out. We all need to support them without reservation."

I am so sick of hearing/reading this. How does sending American solders to fight for this illusionary and very likely fleeting Iraqi freedom have anything to do with my right to speak out in my country? Especially whenever I speak out it is my fellow citizens telling me to shut up? If those solders were defending my right to speak out they would be shooting the people telling me to shut up not the Iraqi's
