Ok, so it looks like I can get the time off work, but the damn plane ticket is $572. 
I can only pull together $250.
Anyone wanna make an early donation to my birthday??
Or make a suggestion as to LEGAL ways to come up some funds??!! I don't have time for a part time job. I'm planning this trip in 3 weeks, I can't find a part time job... get hired... and expect to make enough money in time. I need like selling some of my stuff.... ebay takes too long.... my credit card is already maxed and I don't want to apply for another. 
I don't think this is going to come together.

I don't know if this helps any but I just looked at Hawaiian Airlines for fares and I found a ticket for $450. Best of luck in your quest for the bright light city.
