These folks are real McCain/Palin supporters; I have seen them at poker tables from central WV to the boonies of Western NC (and yes...I almost always took their money biggrin )

Oh bleh, I could only watch 56 seconds of that video. puke Honestly I feel bad for McCain/Palin having those people as supporters...they're only voting for them because they're Republican, and in their misbegotten tiny brains, Republican=one nation under Jeebus, and no more killin' babies for stem cells! puke

Here's one that takes the cake: Marksy works with this mouthbreather who thinks Palin shouldn't be eligible to run because she's not American. Because, as he said, Alaska is "way up there with Canada and Russia" and he, in his infinite wisdom, doesn't consider it part of the US. eeek I lol'd when he told me that and ran to share the story with my boss, thinking she'd get a kick out of it, and she was just like, well, I'd rather have an Alaskan than someone who doesn't look like they're from here. WTF?! I kinda thought she was joking but then she repeated the age-old redneck's tirade of Obama being "Muslim." whatever

Obama's spent a lot of time in NC and it looks like it's paying off. Somehow I think that if NC goes blue, we're pretty much home free.
